Feeding the World PIE
––Physically, Intellectually and Emotionally
Our breakfast would not be the same without fresh eggs from our hens. They're a great food to help start the day.
Our chickens are not completely free-range. We keep them in their coop during the night for safety from varmints, and leave them inside during prime egg-laying time––morning and afternoon. (This prevents them from laying eggs in the flower beds and horse pen.)
Nonetheless, they are let out into the barnyard every afternoon. Afternoon chicken recess is an event you don't want to miss!
